Description: Imaging Systems also have some custom made stand offs such as the 6110/DY.
For tendon scanning often a stand-off is needed because the region of interest lies very close to the surface. The use of a stand off results in better imaging. Unfortunately gel has to be used which makes the whole procedure very slippery and inconvenient. To overcome this we have made a stand off which overcomes this inconvenience and at the same time has a 10 and 20mm stand off distance.

Description: Acoustic coupling gel is specially formulated for ultrasound diagnosis. It is optimized for its acoustic properties and its consistency designed to minimize air bubbles. The gel is available in bottles for portable applications or in a 5 litre container with in-built dispenser for surgery based examinations.

Model: Carry Bags
Description: Equipment that is to be moved around will benefit from being moved and perhaps operated inside a protective carry bag. Imaging Systems provides custom hand built carry bags for some our ultrasound scanners. These bags are padded, with velcro flaps for probe and power lead connection. The bag can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth.
